This application is a location based video sharing application which enables users to record and find videos on any location on the map.
This Privacy Policy explains how WhoShares use, share and protect information in relation to this mobile services and your choices about the collection and use of your information.
By using this Service you understand and agree that WhoShares is providing a platform for you to register with e-mail address, provide gps location and your devices unique id, along with your videos to this service. This application will let other users reach your e-mail address if allowed by you, and the location and the device id will be stored in a server database, hidden from other users. videos will be publicly available to all users.
This Policy applies to all users.
WhoShares collects these private informations.
Your e-mail address when you register.
Your device's unique id.
Your device's camera and audio to record videos.
Your device's gps location while searching for and recording videos.
Your social account link or e-mail address will be reachable to other users if you allow them to be visible.
Your e-mail address will be used to verify registering, new device activation and video deletion operations.
Your device id will be used to compare when logging in to protect unauthorized access to your account. Device id will not be used for other purposes.
Device's gps location will be used to show videos on the map, where they have been recorded. You device's location will not be tracked when the application is passive. Location information will not be used for other purposes.
Your device's camera and audio records will only be used while recording video. Visual and auditory information will not be used for other purposes.
WhoShares may not physically remove the video information after video deletion and registered users will not be deleted.
WhoShares will not rent or sell your information to third parties without your consent, except as noted in this Policy.
What happens in the event of a change of control:
If WhoShares is sold or otherwise transfered partially or the completely to another organization, your information such as name and e-mail address, User Content and any other information collected through the Service may be among the items sold or transferred. You will continue to own your User Content. The buyer or transferee will have to honor the commitments in this Privacy Policy.
Responding to legal requests and preventing harm:
WhoShares may access, preserve and share your information in response to a legal request (like a search warrant, court order or subpoena). WhoShares may also access, preserve and share information to: detect, prevent and address fraud and other illegal activity; to protect ourselves, you and others, including as part of investigations; and to prevent death or imminent bodily harm. Information about you may be accessed, processed and retained for an extended period of time when it is the subject of a legal request or obligation, governmental investigation, or investigations concerning possible violations of this terms or policies, or otherwise to prevent harm.
Storage and Processing:
Your information collected through the Service may be stored and processed in Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform. The database is secured with Microsoft Sql Server Database security measures.
You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your account information, and for controlling access to e-mails between you and WhoShares, at all times. Your WhoShares is not responsible for the functionality, privacy, or security measures of any other organization.
How long WhoShares will keep your User Content:
If you chose to delete your video from the application, the information in the database may remain for a period of time which seems suited by the owner of WhoShares.
WhoShares does not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register for the Service. The Service and its content are not directed at children under the age of 13. If a user registered under age 13 and reported and proved, all of the information about the user will be deleted without parental consent.
WhoShares are not responsible for the practices employed by any websites or services linked to or from this Service, including the information or content contained within them. Please remember that when you use a link to go from this Service to another website or service, this Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party websites or services. Your browsing and interaction on any third-party website or service, are subject to that third party's own rules and policies. In addition, you agree that WhoShares is not responsible and do not have control over any third-parties that you authorize to access your User Content. If you are using a third-party website or service and you allow them to access your User Content you do so at your own risk.
